I wonder if the Howlett household is charging that dodgey operation in the garage enough rent? Run the numbers. Does corporate expense affect your owed tax (eg can you write it off as we can here in the US?)
I know a businessman here who joked what a bastard his landlord was - himself. Personal income tax rates for what he was taking home were lower than his corporate tax rates, so it was good for him, and legitimate as the rent rate wasn't out of line with local rents.
