A real dirty one is to use style-sheets and set the H2 tag equal to the background color or visibility: hidden (at least when you want to set it to "") .
It is especially useful when using pass-thru html tables because the message might sometimes be displayed outside of your custom table.
I know there are some DbColumn and Javascript solutions but I never get th e time to design real nice solutions.
