Actually Jake, if you ignore the Links property in xpages view containers and then in column properties of the view for that one column specify html and code your view with an html link in that column only, you have one html link in a normal view in xpages that will open the underlying document. The other columns are rendered as notes content.

    This is one of the huge powers of xpages. You can mix and match where before we had to do either or.

    I can now write a view with html only in the one column I wish to use to open the underlying document, and render the other columns using the view display property...Easy or what?
