   hi all

   i really got benefit from the code samples

   but the thing i want to mention is that we can work out for various columns rather than hardcoding them as i did

   here's the code

   Dim sess As New NotesSession Dim db As NotesDatabase Dim qs As NotesView Set db = sess.CurrentDatabase Set qs = db.GetView("Employee")

   Forall c In qs.Columns Print |<td width="80"><b>|+c.Title+|</td>| End Forall

   n then display their contents as already described
