Hi Jake, I had a great deal of healthy scepticism over Xpages but I can see that it is working. My scepticism had previously saved me from the Workplace fiasco but Xpages is different.
2 things occur to me as I read your post.
If your customers favoured Domino developer ( you ) is sceptical of XPages then your customers will be too.
If you remain sceptical about XPages then it is a certainty that you will not be developing on Domino in any meaningful way in the not to distant future.
It would be a great shame to loose your talents from the community.
