Howdy from Down Under, my pop (my dad'd dad) was 100 on Wed 27th and we are having a party with family photo on this Sunday 31st Jan with all children, grand children, and great grand children. Nan is 97.
From Australia, even though we are still "tied" to the "motherland", you write to the Queen to tell her (office) that you are turning 100 and she'll send a signed letter (by one of her minions) as a celebratory token.
I would have thought the database of people turning 100 in the world would be no more than a few thousand records and she could hand sign. Oh well.
