  1. Always make a backup. I upgraded from 6.5 to 7 and did not loose my workspace.

    However there is one problem that can cause a Denial of Service to your email with Notes 7 that has been fixed with 7.0.2 HF534. There are some external MIME messages that cause the non-fixed Notes client to crash. This is not a problem with 6.5 when reading the same exact message. They did fix it in the Hot Fix.

    The other problem I and others at work have is that when opening a database the Notes client will go completely white (the Notes client window is white, menus and text are gone) and will not be responsive for what seems to be a very long time (30 seconds or more).
