It is possible to create a central database of image resources....Just include
the images as image resources, then make the database a template.
In the application databases, include the image resources, but have them
inherit from this template.
I know that I'm leaving out alot, but it wouldn't take alot of effort to create
a mechanism to search the template, showing the images available and creating a
mechanism for adding them to the local application.
The benefit is the ability to change one graphic and have it populated
everywhere (like a company logo). This would be an especially useful way to
update one's website <or> provide an alternative view of the website, based on
where the user came from.
Another suggestion would be to create a database that could extract the images
to the local html directory on the server. The database would then provide URL
references to the images that could be accessible via @DBLookups or a simliar
technique.
This definately doesn't help the Notes community with such things. Maybe rNext
will assist with this.
