  1. Internally we use a span filter which works well. Personally I have a registered domain that provides 50 free email forwarding addresses. I use these to setup a few fake names that forward to my primary address and use these when registering at sites for information. Tracking the span that comes in I have noticed that a few of the "professional" sites I have registered at must sell the list to spammers because their message said I am getting this because I said OK at another site, however they do allow you to opt out of future mailings. Others names I have used that simply get to spam mail I end up removeing from my forwarding list, I do this about twice a year. I find this much easier than changing my email address. I funny thing about this is trying to explain it to a non-techie, they look at you like you have a third horn growing out of your head.
