This weekend my server's controller failed. Had RAID 5, redundant everything (power supplies, NIC adapters, etc...). Only reason that I got back up in running was that I had a warm spare Lotus server running and I could switch the customers over. I was able to bring the saved SSL and server certificates in and turn the backup into the production machine. The one hiccup was that I had to unencrypt all of the encrypted files on my backup server before switching them over.
