Jake, any time spent with Node.JS yet? If so, how did you find it? I like the node concept, but have serious concerns over an interpreted javascript server language vs. a (psuedo) compiled lang like java. Node is being 'sold' on non-blocking performance, which sounds 'fair' in principle, but in practice? Can a single-threaded ie: running on a single-core interpreted server really perform better?
Love to hear from anybody who can offer benchmarks and a bit of insight on this...!
