    Well, this topic certainly has my interest. I think a lot of HTML5 goodness is easy to learn and easy to apply to both existing and new websites. In a lot of cases you can just use it in a progressive enhancement scenario.

    Spreading the message, debunking the myth that we'll have to wait 10 years for it to be ready, is a good thing, so I'm glad you're doing it. I'm also fully on board with your decreased interest in supporting old browsers. We've done that for over a decade and it has only stalled innovation. It is time to look forward.

    If you have clients still insisting on pixel perfect compatibility in IE6-8? No problem, make it visible for them how much budget is wasted on that.

    On a side note, I did make some mistakes in my early HTML5 experiments, particularly in how I use those semantic elements. You live and learn.
