Would it not have to assume that all relationships between articles are two-way
affairs. i.e. if I think your article is related to mine then yours must agree
to be related to mine.
In fact, this would have to work in reverse. You would have to edit all
documents related to any particular article and add its ID to them. This isn't
the best approach in my eyes. Detail of related documents should be kept in the
article itself. Makes it easier in many ways. Especially if edit rights come in
to it.
