I can relate. Switching to my off hand for mouse use after an injury made me feel less productive... just the slightest change and efficiency drops off for a while.
Hopefully the cost of maintaining two services won't suck away too much of your profits. Maybe looking at a way to get the router to work over a tethered 3G device would allow you to be comfortable and efficient, or near enough, with a degraded speed. Redundancy is good but I hope the benefit far outweighs the costs. My checkbook gets nervous just contemplating the prospects.
