Hi Jake,
Had a thought! Why not just use a hidden IFrame to show/hide the form/document to create/read/edit documents!
All you need to do then is to show the hidden IFrame and open the form or selected document in it.... Therefore you do not need AJAX to do it!
This should be the quickest & easiest way of doing it!
