I'm pretty sure I've missed the boat when it comes to monetizing this blog. The actual number of hits on the site has remained fairly constant over the years (thanks to Google referrals) but (unless I'm just being too paranoid) the number of actual "readers" has continued to fall year on year. Can't say I'm surprised though. The amount of technical content has also fallen. There's not enough new stuff now to warrant charging for it. Especially as if I did charge I'd then be duty-bound to deliver and you know how much work is involved in delivering good content.
