CodeStore No Longer Supports IE 6
I got an email this morning alerting me to an issue with the new commenting system in IE 6, which you can see an example of below:
It works but gets a bit screwy very quickly when you expand/collapse threads. This is something I was aware of but had decided not to go to any lengths to fix. Codestore no longer supports IE 6.
Usage stats for this site show that about 10% of you are using IE 6 still. I'm guessing because you have no choice? Well, I'm sorry but you'll have to put up with the quirks of using said browser on this site. I'm not doing anything special here. If your browser can't handle it then...

Hi Jake,
I'm one of your 10% and totally understand and approve.
Only wish I could do that to my client base.
Google Analytics tells me that 20% of our users
are still on IE6, so I have to keep developing/maintaining for
the lowest common denominator.

We've decided not to support IE6 on our new XPages product and (surprisingly) haven't had any push back from customers yet. The quicker that IE6 dies the better for all of us.

Same here... stuck with IE 6 as the corporate standard. Would make my life much easier if it went away.

I code professionally for nothing but IE6. This is both a blessing and a curse.

Now that is interesting. MS giving it the old heave-ho is a sure sign to their customers they should do likewise.
