DExt Download

A handful of people have asked if and when the DExt demo will be made available as a download. The respective answers are yes and now.

As I mentioned earlier, work on this application has ceased and all efforts are now focused on a team colloboration to build an all singing and dancing Domino JavaScript framework.

What I am about to make available was only ever meant as a work in progress. Take from it what you will though. If nothing else take a look at the NotesSession Form in there, which will soon become known as Ext.nd.Session.

You can download it from the Sandbox area or directly from here.

Note: Only works with Domino 7.0.2 and only with the version of Ext included in the NSF. I've not tested it with the 1.0 release, so don't know if it will work as is.

Comments

  1. I notice some strange behaviours in IE, like when adjusting the columns of the view, the columns do not align proper with the table headers.

Also opening a document in the 'preview' pane, it is opened in a tiny 'iframe' or something.

In Firefox it works much better.

I especially like the draggable table headers.

    Nice work!

  2. Hi Jack, thank for your effort in keeping everbody interested in all nice features of Notes/Domino. With this giveaway Dext you show again that you do and did a great job for all of us - since years!! Greetings from Germany :-)

i made a copy out to my notes server (its running domino 8 beta 3) i know this says 7 is only supported.

I signed all documents and agents and resaved all files, i added myself to the ACL and gave all users manager rights, whatever i try i cant view this in the web. It just prints 'DExt v0.0.0.0.3', in IE7 the status bar has an error that reads:

    Line: 27

    Char: 1

    Error: 'DEXT' is undefined

    Code: 0

    Have i done something wrong?
