CodeStore Re-Design On Its Way

Jerry said of the CodeStore re-design that I should do what I like as it's "my baby". Well, I feel like my baby has finally matured and is about to graduate.

Although the re-design isn't completely finished I am far too excited to keep it back any longer. What I will do is split it in to two phases. Phase 1 is complete. Phase two will include some performance enhancements and usability improvements, but it will be small in comparison to the work done in Phase 1.

All being well I will release it either tomorrow or the day after. Almost definitely by the end of the week.

What's been said so far (all genuine comments from beta testers, honest):

My first impression. WOW! This is definitely a very good version. "Kick-ass". I love it man
Its simply Great. Lovely. Marvelous.
I think the new homepage is more of a 'homepage' now with better access to all of the important things. The improved search makes it easier to find things, ...
It looks real slick.
Mmm sexy
The site layout is definatly [sic] cleaner and more "fun" to navigate.
The new setup is great! It is really easy to find items that you are looking for.

Ah, you're teasing us, Jake. I want to see, I want to see! Alright, I can wait (barely). I'm sure it'll be fantastic.

    Jake -

How dare you leave us hanging from yesterday! Ha ha. I certainly can't be the only one wondering what solution you came up with?

Cool. Look forward to it. Off the wall question for you. What lenses do you have for your Rebel?

Did some Beta testing yesterday on my Mac. Perfectly rendered on Safari (latest release) and Firefox for Mac 1.0.

Just wondered what is the meaning of this Grey "user_32.gif" image on your Google article? A hint for a non-technical article?

Good work, love the new design.

Well guys. The Design Refresh is complete and all the necessary documents have had their field updated/removed/added. All that's needed now is to replicate to the web.

I just want to make sure it's all working before I go ahead. Will probably do it tomorrow now (Thursday).

Don. The little person icon represents the blog entries as it gives it the personal touch. What really happpened was that I ran out of icons to use ;-)

    Jake-

I'll go ahead and ask the question that everyone is wondering...

Are you planning on making the new design's Notes template available for download?

    Thanks,

    Brandon
