Lessons in Global Coding

Lessons in programming - if you are going to use a line like this in your code, don't release it to the whole world and expect it to work. Stop and think ;o)

SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat ( "dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm" );

Anyway, in case you're wondering, it was in the DomBlog API I've been going on about. Fixed now though and in version 1.5.1 of the DomBlog.

Users of Declan Lynch's BlogSphere template will be happy to learn he's taken me up on the offer of incorporating the API. Not only that but John Marshall has started to make the code more portable and modular. Exciting times. If you're a blogger that is.

  1. Jake,

    Spell my name right and I might finish the code quicker. ;)
