Clearing Up The Challenge

Okay, maybe I didn't make the Flash challenge clear as to what the goal was. The aim is to reproduce the chart from this database in Flash and in what I feel is an approach as easy as the one that I've used. Already I know this will involve a lot of ActionScript, which will make it inaccessible to 80% of us for a start.

I'm not saying that it can't be done, as GlobFX have proved that it can, with their Swiff Chart Generator. If I thought that the amazing examples they have were easy to do I would drop SVG for SWF in a flash (boom boom).

The new camera I mentioned the other day is amazing. The only complaint I have is with Amazon's service. If I say ship when order is complete, that's what I want. If I order a camera and an extra memory card it won't improve my "customer experience" to have the card shipped first. If only a person made this decision rather than a system they would see why. As it turned out the camera shipped 3 hours later. Having been an Amazon customer for 4 years I am beginning to lose the faith. Dabs.com have the same product for £30 less with free-delievery!

How long before my debut on Photographica... charge batteries, charge!
