Without wanting to get in to any kind of Flash vs. SVG debate I want to throw down the gauntlet and issue a challenge. To all of you Flashophiles who keep telling me how great it is and that I should give it more air-time - prove it. Take the above and the bar-chart I made and do it in Flash. By way of reward, anybody who can prove that this is just as easy in Flash can be in charge of this blog for a day and say what they like about whatever they like (within reason, of course).

Just for Jurgen Van de Moere, here's his national flag. They qualified today. Maybe USA will as well, as I predicted in my blog of Fri 31st May. Doesn't look likely though after Poland scored two goals in the first six minutes. However, if this cup has proved anything, it's expect the unexpected.
