You're saying I only used Domino because it was easy and all I could manage? I'm confused.
Not really the case either way. I was "told" Notes was my career path by the company who took me on as a young undergraduate with no IT skills to speak of (apart from some Delphi programming).
I've enjoyed the last 14 years but do feel it's left me without any formal programming skills to speak of.
If the company had sent me off to be a programmer of something more formal then I'm pretty sure I'd be a different developer today. Whatever I choose to do I will be good at it. I didn't choose Domino because it's easy.
