I think I would be likely to pay a fee for access, BUT if I had come to
Codestore for the first time and found no way to derive anything of benefit
before being asked to pony up, I might not know anything of its benefits.
Although The View is probably a lot more expensive, the fact that organization
always seems to have its hand out is a factor in my not using it at all.
I certainly accept the idea of paying modestly for Codestore and would like to
see you be able to spend more gainful time enriching it. At the same time I
think you should consider how to keep your revenue stream growing once you
switch to the pay model. I do not know if the various freebies that sites offer
are a great idea for them, but I do think they drive traffic. New users need
to have a good opportunity to see how well your site is structured and to be
able to sense the value they could derive from it.
