   You're right Charlotte. My mistake ;o)

   The line: return (fileTypes.join(".").indexOf(fileType) != -1)

   Generates and test the following string for the existence of ".gif"

   "gif.jpg.png.bmp"

   Obviously the .join() is not addding a period at the beginning. I'll leave this to you to work out how...
