Although I'm using other technologies to resize an image (PHP/Imagick) I can confirm that such an operation is very memory hungry, using a multiple of the original file size in internal memory. In my situation I also had to increase the max memory allowed for the web application server, luckily the machine physically had enough memory.
hi Jake,
Although I'm using other technologies to resize an image (PHP/Imagick) I can confirm that such an operation is very memory hungry, using a multiple of the original file size in internal memory. In my situation I also had to increase the max memory allowed for the web application server, luckily the machine physically had enough memory.
