Even if you call the form's onsubmit this makes no difference (as I suspected).
It all comes down to the value of the "__Click" field that gets submitted with
all Domino forms. The only way this gets set is when you use a formula button
that calls the "_doClick" function.
We could probably fudge a way of similating this call but I *hate* the kind of
hack that involves hiding a button and copying its function call reference.
Kind of defeats the whole object.
