Ask my developers what they think of xPages, and the answer is not pretty :)
This is probably because the learning curve is brutal, especially when doing stuff outside of the "standard" way, and we find that doing stuff the "old" ways can be much faster. They also don't like to develop in XML...
Not saying xPages is not good for Domino, but it's not everything it's hyped to be.
