I have been doing Domino Web development for almost two years now. I always
use subforms and this pass through HTML techniqe. Once I designed a site that
server 75,000 usera a day at its peak and the server performed beautifully. I
am of the opinion that the processing you save by using pass through HTML
versus letting Domino create the HTML when the page is requested far out
weights the processes required to compute subforms. I use this technique often
and not one of my clients has ever complained about performance.
