I've always created a button with the formula @filesave and FileClosewindow. By
putting in the style property display:none; the button is invisible. You can
then reference the button by document.forms[0].ButtonID.click();..
This allows you to do what ever you require in javascript, then use notes to
generate the code to do the rest.
