Best I've done in Notts is 1:39 (IIRC) which I put down to the fact there are so many more people in it and it's hard to find your own pace. Perhaps the colouring system I hear they're using this year might help with that, but my advise is start as far up the pack as you dare. Just be wary of standing next to any Kenyans. That would be way too far up.
My 1:34 was actually in Worksop "The Scenic One".
