HomeSite as HTML editor

A good HTML editor is a must have. For me, the weapon of choice is HomeSite. It
doesn't add any extraneous coding, it has colour-coding of tags and consistent
indenting which helps with maintenance, automatically creates closing tags,
includes lots of features like code validators, sweepers to tidy up coding, etc
and of course integrates perfectly with TopStyle for creating CSS. I create all
my page designs in HomeSite and get them to work before cutting them up for
Notes.
