validating e-mail addresses

I have some questions however. At the moment it's possible to use spaces in the
e-mail field. Is it possible to validate the e-mail field so it doesn't contain
spaces?


Is it also possible to exclude certain domains / strings? Like for instance
'hotmail.com'
