Should be easy. Open a new doc (File --> New or [Ctrl]+[n]) and mark it as
paste board (Document --> Use as Paste Board). The colour of the document tab
changes to green and it accumulates any text copied to the clipboard.


If you already own textpad, there's probably no reason for switching, but
everybody looking for a free editor should definitely have a look at it. Much
of it's power lies in it's libraries and doesn't show off at a first look.
Appart from the libraries directly targeting the creation of HTML, CSS or other
code, the Utilities library offers tools like file comparision, MD5 and CRC32
checksum calculation, UUEncoding and -decoding, calculating your ideal weight
and conversion between SI-units and the english/american system. (For your
