Login screen appears when exporting to excel

Hi All, This discussion thread is of great value to me. well i am facing a
tricky problem. I am calling an agent (xxx.xls?openagent) and i have some
parameters passed as query_string along with the agent call. Now when my
parameter(which is a field value) has no space in it, then the data is getting
exported to excel like charm. but when the parameter has an space (%20) then it
opens up excel sheet but the sceen is filled with the initial login screen. any
idea..why i am breaking my head.. any clue will solve my problem.
