If you open a HTML file in Excel most formating doesn't appear, but as Excel
has an export to HTML function and it seems to me that you could reverse
engineer the codes necessary for formatting.


I found you could even give it the extension XLS and as far as the user is
concerned it is an Excel Spreadsheet
