A colleague of mine used to web-cam his clients a great deal. Depending on the client, and on his mood, he would select the "wallpaper" behind him from a series of pull-down rollerblinds.

Best was a beach scene, which he would augment by dressing in a loud surfing shirt and sipping a cool drink while discussing the more arcane aspects of the deliverable.

What you need is an "active" wallpaper and a webcam. Then you can REALLY show what's behind the screen on the screen. Probably slightly elaborate for an April Fools gag though ;)

That's a really interesting idea, I'm sure lots of people passing by would be gawking at my screen if I did something like that...Kind of a cool effect for the user too...even though you know the secret!
