Update the ECL.

Windows Login Profile for the user gets currupted.

Create new profile and then start notes it will work.

In Linux, just give full access to /etc/lotus/notes/data/share. Then restart Notes.

If you manually edit the dictionary file you will get this error message.

so Delete the user.Dic file in the notes installation path.. ( It will automatically created a new one.)

Deleting user dictionary entries (prefferences->spell chcecking->edit user dictionary) solved the problem.
