Solutions

I am running a Windows Host script in VBScript that encounters this exact error once in a blue moon. I haven't been able to duplicate it myself. I know that I can't create a NotesSession object in COM with out rebooting the box with Notes installed on it. Rebooting fixes the problem. My wild guess is that there are still Lotus COM objects in memory that cause Notes to hang... Are you still getting this error? If so, what are you trying to do? If not, how did you get around it?

I get this error when running a game of mine on Windows XP. This site popped up after a Google search, and it looks like this error spans a lot of different applications and situations.

I also get this error but mine happens every time I boot the computer or restart. It happens when it is almost finished booting up (at the end when it is almost finished loading start up applications in the system tray [icons next to the clock]). It then asks if I want to debug. If I let it debug, the system hangs. If I don't let it debug, windows reloads start up files again, but before that it says error "out of memory" I click ok and it reloads start ups. I have 1 GB RAM, Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard, Athlon XP 2900 CPU (333 MHz - Barton core), Windows XP Pro w/SP2, 50 GB 'C' drive(with only 3GB free),4 more partitions spread over 3 hard drives with 30GB, 5GB, 2GB, & 1GB free space on each (all PATA, no SATA or RAID) and a multi boot system.
