Cannot Login From Web Client

Synopsis
We are in the process of migrating users to a new domain. The old ids are able to login from a web client but the migrated ids cannot login.
It seems that the new user cannot be found in the view "$Users" in the Name and Address book.
Could this be a problem that is related to the migration??

I am also experiencing the same situation after migrating users to new domain. I have been looing for solutions but in vain. Please somebody help.
